I'm not actively looking right now, so I don't have an updated resume. Can I still join your Talent Brokering Network?


I'm happy in my current role and I'm not truly “on the market” -- can I still join?

Yes. You tell us what you are looking for and we will only reach out when we’re working on something that is a match for you. This is the beginning of what we hope is a long term relationship. The ball will always be in your court.

Does Offor focus on certain opportunities?

Yes, our search firm works primarily with companies looking for the following leaders:

  • CEO/Executive Director

  • Chief Program Officer/Managing Directors of Program/Chief Product Officer

  • COO/Chief of Staff/Managing Director (strategy/consulting)

What if I’m not currently in the c-suite, but am a few layers removed. Can I still join?

Of course. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term relationship.  We’d love to put you in touch with CEOs and board members before they are looking and before you’re ready for the c-suite. 80% of CEOs hire those whom they know. We want to help you get to know the right people.

Will other people know I've joined the Talent Brokering Network?

No. You will remain completely confidential and we will never share your personal information with any clients (or anyone else) without speaking to you and getting your express permission first. No one else will have access to your information or know you've joined. You’ll be on our radar and our radar only.

Can you find me or guarantee me a job?

As much as we'd love to be able to find the perfect match for every single person who joins Talent Bench, we are focused on filling current openings at our client companies. We'll reach out when we are aware of something that could be a fit for you.

What does it cost to join?

Absolutely nothing! Our clients pay a fee through our search process. There is no cost to join or participate in anything associated with our Talent Brokering services. We do ask members to be open to mutually beneficial connections from members.

Can I refer my friends?

Of course! Great leaders know other great leaders. Please have your friends join the network too.

Can I contact you to set up time to tell you what I’m looking for, ask for advice or get career coaching and guidance?

While we are conducting exploratory calls based on current and upcoming needs, we are unable to accommodate every request to speak live at this time. Once the right position for you becomes available, we'll be sure to reach out and let you know. Can you help me with my resume?

It’s not our highest and best use. There are many low cost (and excellent resources out there). Here is our general advice:

  • use the best resume site we’ve seen,;

  • try to keep your resume to 1 page (2 max if you must);

  • use verbs to describe your accomplishments (e.g., raised $40M in 2 years, exceeding national targets); and

  • spell check, spell check, spell check.

Is Offor currently hiring internally?
